Renting a yacht for the first half of the day is a great way to see the sights of Caldera, as well as to swim and sunbathe.
You can enjoy the sunset at sea while following the same route if you choose to hire a yacht in the afternoon. The duration and schedule of the evening trip may vary slightly depending on the season and the time of sunset. Approximate sunset time in Santorini this week is 19:20.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the number of sailing yachts in Santorini is limited and they are always in high demand. It is better to rent a sailing yacht in advance – 2-3 weeks before the dates you need. During the high season (from May to September) this sailing yacht can be occupied every day for several weeks in a row.

In 2024 the cost of renting a Beneteau Oceanis 45 sailing yacht with skipper for 5 hours for a group of up to 4 people will be 1100 euro. Every additional guest on board is a 100 euro extra. If you want to rent a sailing yacht for the whole day, the cost will be 2200 euro, regardless of the number of people in your group. The maximum number of guests on board is 8 persons.
The yacht rental price at the beginning and end of the season is lower – only 880 euros. This price is valid from the beginning of the season until 30 May and from 1 October until the end of the season.

In 2024, the sailing yacht Beneteau Oceanis 45 can be rented in Santorini from 01/04 to 31/10. Available days – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Before going to sea, it is necessary to issue some special documents (forms with information regarding route, crew and all passengers). To do this, we need the full name (as in the passport), gender, age and citizenship of all participants. It depends on the location of your hotel or villa. Some cities of Santorini are famous for their narrow streets, which are not so easy to walk even on foot. So in some cases you will need to walk to the main road, some nearest square or parking place, where a car or a tour bus can pick you up. If your hotel has good road access, then the transfer will be able to pick you up directly from the hotel.
After placing an order, you will receive detailed information about the place and time of the meeting, as well as all the necessary documents. Please read them carefully beforehand.
During the season in Santorini there is a lot of sun and very little shade. So you will definitely need sun protection: special cream, glasses, headwear, and so on. If there is a possibility of motion sickness in transport, we recommend that you take appropriate pills an hour and a half before departure. If you plan to sunbathe and swim, bring your swimwear. There are towels, masks, snorkels and flippers on the yacht. If you choose the sunset option, make sure you have some warm clothing with you, as even on a hot day it can be chilly in the sea at night.
All passengers on board should have their passport or ID card with them in case the port authority performs a check of the ship. A paper copy or a photo on a cellphone will be sufficient.
If the weather does not allow you to make the yacht trip in Santorini, we will try to reschedule it for the next day with good weather. If there is no such date, we will refund the entire amount of your payment.
