Excursion details

This is the most seaside trip in Santorini ever! Why? Because each point on the itinerary is a sight near which you can and should swim!

A sea tour by catamaran is a great way to see not only the volcano’s caldera and swim in the thermal springs, but also to get to some of the most famous beaches of island. During the day you have to choose between relaxing on the deck of a luxury catamaran surrounded by breathtaking views or swimming in the open sea in the thermal springs, the Red and White beaches.

You will see all key sights of the caldera from the sea:

  • Thirasia island (also known as Thirassia or Therasia);
  • Hot springs in Palea Kameni and Nea Kameni volcano;
  • Aspronisi island;
  • Indian face Rock;
  • Ancient lighthouse;
  • Akrotiri peninsula;
  • Red beach;
  • White beach.

Morning cruise takes place on the largest catamarans that can be found in Santorini, the Ocean Voyager. Depending on the model, they are 22 to 24 meters long and take up to 55 guests on board at once.

The luxury catamaran sets sail from the port of Ammoudi (Amoudi) in Oia and go along the west coast of Santorini between the island of Thirasia and the dizzying vertical cliffs of the caldera. The first stop is planned at the center of the caldera near the volcano, where you can literally take a therapeutic bath in the thermal volcanic springs.

The catamaran will pass the small island of Aspronisi, and will head towards Akrotiri, where you will see the beautiful lighthouse and the Indian Rock, called after a shape resembling that of an Indian.

Next stop is Red Beach, which is one of the most popular beaches of Santorini. It is known for its unusual color: the sand and pebbles here are dark red, and the rocks are burgundy. There will be another stop for swimming, after which the catamaran trip will continue with a visit to the White Beach. This is probably the most secluded beach – you can get there only by water.

After swimming under the high white rocks in the crystal clear water you will have a traditional Greek lunch aboard the catamaran! Lunch includes roast pork, chicken, roasted vegetables, stuffed grape leaves, Greek salad and, of course, local white wine and soft drinks. Meanwhile, the catamaran heads northwest, back to the port of Ammoudi near the village of Oia.

Important details

Please read Cancellation and Refund policy.

In case there are less than 24 hours left before the trip, please book only after agreeing with the manager on availability.

Before going to sea, it is necessary to issue some special documents (forms with information regarding route, crew and all passengers). To do this, we need the full name (as in the passport), gender, age and citizenship of all participants. If you already have this information, you can write it in the comments field when placing an order.

You will receive your tickets by email or WhatsApp – whichever is more convenient for you.

Please keep all documents and tickets until the end of the trip!

It depends on the location of your hotel or villa. Some cities of Santorini are famous for their narrow streets, which are not so easy to walk even on foot. So in some cases you will need to walk to the main road, some nearest square or parking place, where a car or a tour bus can pick you up. If your hotel has good road access, then the transfer will be able to pick you up directly from the hotel.

After placing an order, you will receive detailed information about the place and time of the meeting, as well as all the necessary documents. Please read them carefully beforehand.

Santorini has a lot of sun and almost no shade during the summer. You will definitely need some sun protection: sunscreen, glasses, hat and so on. If there is a possibility of motion sickness in transport, then we recommend taking the appropriate pills. Take your swimwear and towels (if you plan to swim). You are required to have the original or copy/photo of your passport or ID card with you.

No. You will be on a catamaran the whole time.
