Excursion details

Immerse yourself in a captivating four-hour sunset bus tour that showcases Santorini’s breathtaking scenery and iconic sites. Explore stunning beaches, historic landmarks and finish your adventure with the romantic charm of Santorini’s famous sunset in the island’s most beautiful village!

You will be able to see the following Santorini attractions:

  • Volcanic Red Beach;
  • The lighthouse of Akrotiri and the southern cape;
  • The island’s highest viewpoint near Prophet Ilias (Elias) Monastery;
  • Oia village at sunset time.

The bus tour begins in the evening with a trip to the southernmost regions of our island. We start our adventure at the famous Red Beach on the southern part of Santorini, a natural wonder framed by bright red cliffs and a unique mix of red and black sand infused with volcanic minerals. You will spend 20 minutes immersed in this distinctive volcanic landscape, taking stunning photographs and enjoying a tranquil escape into nature. This stop is an exceptional opportunity to experience the raw beauty and geological wonders of Santorini.

Also during our tour we will visit the iconic Akrotiri Lighthouse, one of Santorini’s most picturesque spots. Here you’ll have 35 minutes to take in the breathtaking views, capture unforgettable moments with your camera and appreciate the historic charm of the lighthouse. This stop allows you to experience the timeless beauty and captivating scenery that Santorini is famous for.

We then ascend to the island’s highest peak near the Monastery of the Prophet Ilias, a landmark of historical significance founded in the 18th century. The monastery, which has served as an educational sanctuary over the years, offers not only a glimpse into Santorini’s rich history, but also a mesmerising panorama of the island and the Aegean Sea. Here we will spend 15 minutes taking in the enchanting views and soaking up the tranquil, traditional atmosphere of this important site.

Finally, our bus will take you to the stunning village of Oia, known for its narrow cobbled streets, snow-white buildings, beautiful chapels and churches and, of course, sunsets – this is what it is all about. During the trip to Oia you will also have time to walk around on your own and enjoy the stunning evening atmosphere and beauty. Spend 45 minutes exploring this charming village and… approximate time of sunset in Santorini this week is 17:28, so the best way to end this trip is to watch the sunset over the castle of Agios Nikolaos. The ruins of this castle are on the northwestern edge of the caldera and are particularly beautiful for watching the sunset over the sea.
