Excursion details

Join a leisurely five-hour boat cruise along Santorini’s caldera aboard the Lagoon 500 or Lagoon 520 medium-sized catamarans. Unlike other cruises, this evening trip takes place at a more relaxed pace, with the catamarans following the caldera instead of a circular route. The trip starts in the afternoon at the most southern port of the island in Vlychada (Vlihada) village and ends after sunset in the north of island in the port of Ammoudi (Amoudi) near the village of Oia.

You will see all the key sights of the caldera from the sea:

  • Red beach;
  • White beach;
  • Akrotiri peninsula;
  • Ancient lighthouse;
  • Indian face Rock;
  • Aspronisi island;
  • Hot springs;
  • Sunset at the sea.

The catamarans have a maximum capacity of 20 people and are ideal for a semi-private boat trip – all guests can be accommodated comfortably.

The first stop will be at Red Beach – it’s a great place to swim. The catamaran will stay there for about 30 minutes. By the way, on board you will find everything you need to go swimming – towels, masks, snorkels and flippers.

The second stop will be at White beach. The catamaran will be anchored for about hour and a half here: there will be time for swimming and for dinner on the board.

The route will continue along the Akrotiri area and pass the ancient lighthouse, the Rock of the Indian and the Island of Aspronisi, after the captain will lead the catamaran to the caldera. A third stop is planned in the area of hot springs for swimming in the thermal springs near the volcano Nea Kameni.

Evening is coming, and the catamaran heads north to the picturesque village of Oia. It is here you will have the opportunity to admire a stunning sunset near the picturesque village of Oia, one of Santorini’s main attractions. It is priceless to see the legendary sunset in Santorini without the noise and crowds!

After sunset, the catamaran will head to the port of Ammoudi and a special bus will take you to your hotel.

Important details

Please read Cancellation and Refund policy.

In case there are less than 24 hours left before the trip, please book only after agreeing with the manager on availability.

Before going to sea, it is necessary to issue some special documents (forms with information regarding route, crew and all passengers). To do this, we need the full name (as in the passport), gender, age and citizenship of all participants. If you already have this information, you can write it in the comments field when placing an order.

You will receive your tickets by email or WhatsApp – whichever is more convenient for you.

Please keep all documents and tickets until the end of the trip!

It depends on the location of your hotel or villa. Some cities of Santorini are famous for their narrow streets, which are not so easy to walk even on foot. So in some cases you will need to walk to the main road, some nearest square or parking place, where a car or a tour bus can pick you up. If your hotel has good road access, then the transfer will be able to pick you up directly from the hotel.

After placing an order, you will receive detailed information about the place and time of the meeting, as well as all the necessary documents. Please read them carefully beforehand.

Santorini has a lot of sun and almost no shade during the summer. You will definitely need some sun protection: sunscreen, glasses, hat and so on. If there is a possibility of motion sickness in transport, then we recommend taking the appropriate pills. Take your swimwear and towels (if you plan to swim). You are required to have the original or copy/photo of your passport or ID card with you.

No – you’ll be on a catamaran the whole time.

There are no limitations. It is desirable to be able to swim 🙂

The evening cruise starts at 15:30, so you have time for lunch at the hotel or in one of taverns.

Dinner is planned on the catamaran and is included in the cost of the evening trip.

The crew will cook you a BBQ, and the menu will include Greek salad, chicken fillet, pork chops, shrimp, roasted vegetables, dolma, vegetarian dishes. Of course, water and soft drinks in unlimited quantities, as well as white Santorinian wine.

Yes, english-speaking staff will tell you about the places you will be visiting along the way.

This is not a historical tour, so there will be no extensive material or in-depth presentation of information. It’s more like a sea trip on a catamaran to admire the views and the sunset.

The main language of the tour is English.
