The Beneteau Oceanis 45 is a state-of-the-art cruising yacht that creates a sense of spaciousness and an atmosphere of calm and serenity. The yacht is 45 feet (13.5 meters) long, just under 5 meters wide and can accommodates up to 8 guests.
All in all, it’s a pretty roomy boat for a not-so-large family or group.

Details of a yacht charter with a skipper in Santorini
Below are the basic details of a sailing yacht rental in Santorini. Please note that this is general information for each yacht selected, and the final price includes transfers from your hotel to the yacht and back, as well as lunch at sea. Menus and drinks can be arranged in advance if required:
- Number of seats: from 8 to 10, depending on the yacht chosen;
- Captain and Crew Services: Yes, included in the price;
- Transfer services to and from the port: Yes, included in the price;
- Minimum number of hours to rent: 5;
- Maximum number of hours to rent as agreed;
- Standard lunch on board: Pork or chicken with potatoes and salad, white and red wine, beer, soft drinks, seasonal fruit – all included.
The rental price is for the whole boat and does not depend on the number of guests. In other words, you can split the cost according to the number of people if you are planning a vacation with a large group.
Terms and conditions for yacht rental in Santorini in 2024
The cost of chartering a yacht in Santorini depends on your requirements (chosen yacht, itinerary and its duration, special remarks about the crew, menu on board, etc.). The prices quoted are the minimum cost of chartering a yacht during the year.
In the event of bad weather on the chosen day, the trip will be rescheduled for the next day with more suitable weather conditions. If you are unable to make the trip due to weather conditions, your deposit will be fully refunded.
What is included in the cost of renting a yacht
A yacht in Santorini: what to do for fun at sea?
What can you do on a yacht all day? Trust us, that question will disappear the moment you step on board! Sunbathe, swim in the sea, look around, take pictures, maybe even take the helm and steer the boat a bit and set the sails! Since I have had an international sailing licence for many years, I don’t miss this opportunity, but it is the Greek captains who sail these yachts every day 🙂
By the way, you should eat a delicious lunch or dinner during the cruise and get ready for the sunset if you opt for an evening walk or hire a boat for the whole day. Lunch on the open sea is another story!
If you want to dive and explore the underwater world, there are snorkel and mask sets available. To swim in the sea, you can use the special ladder and platform or… jump off the board and then climb back up the gangway!
If you get tired of seeing the sights, there are comfortable cabins where you can rest at any time: beds are made and there are full sets of linen on board. All our boats have cabins with bedding, fridge, kitchen, toilet and shower.
In the evening you can swim again, sit in the arms of your loved one, drink fragrant Santorini wine and enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset.
Semi-private boat trips around the caldera of Santorini in 2024
If you would like to meet other people who love the sea and make new friends, you can choose to go on a group boat trip.
During the 2024 year, group sailing excursions take place on several routes in the morning and afternoon. The group size is usually 8 to 10 people and the main language on board is English.
You will take a boat trip to the caldera, see the volcano, the thermal springs, enjoy the sea views of Oia and Fira, and of course you will have the opportunity to swim in the sea during the walk. On board you will be served refreshments and a light snack of fruit.
Sailing yachts depart from the south of the island from the port of Vlychada (Vlihada). The transfer from Fira to Vlychada is included in the price of the cruise, which takes about 5 hours on average.
